Dear members – Since launching at the end of March, our website has been visited by more than 1,000 people. Our most popular article “An operation worthy of Joe Stalin”: The full list of Labour councillors pushed aside has been read more than 300 times. On Reddit we reached a whopping 15,000 people and 2,600 people have visited our Twitter page.
But there is still work to be done. These stats may sound impressive but we still need your help to spread the word. Tell your friends, colleagues, family, dog, cat, whoever! Tell them that Leicester has a new independent newspaper that puts people before profit. Tell them that our website is ad-free, has zero clickbait and no political agenda.
Tell them that you own it. The Gazette is your newspaper – owned by the community, for the community. Forward this email!
